On April 1, 2010 over 30,000 previously unavailable prefixes will become available to members to reserve for their use in naming Registered HolsteinsSM. These prefixes were reserved by members many years ago but have not been used to name any Registered HolsteinsSM in more than 20 years.

Please note that if a member wishes to permanently retire his prefix to prevent its re-use, the member may submit that request with a $100 fee. Please contact Peter Cole, Executive Director, Association & Processing Services at 800.952.5200 ext. 4127 with any questions about this new policy.
