Holstein USA All-National Showcase Program

The All-National Showcase Program is designed to recognize U.S. Registered Holstein® cows and their owners for exceptional performance at National Holstein Shows.

In each of the uniform show classes, the top 10 animals earning the most points will be recognized on our website. The top two animals in each class will feature a current picture. Top 10 animals for each class will also receive a certificate while recognition is added to the top two animal's pedigree.

  • To qualify for this award, the animal must meet the following criteria:

    • Must be registered in the Holstein Association USA herdbook on or before November 15 in the award year
    • Be exhibited at one or more National Holstein Shows during the award year

    Point System
    Animals will be eligible to earn points at each National Holstein Show exhibited at throughout the year.

    • Points are allocated for a top 10 placing in their respective uniform age class, based on the size of the show.
    • Classes recognized will be the individual animal classes as listed in the Uniform Class List in the Holstein USA National Show Program:

    Spring Yearling Heifer
    Winter Yearling Heifer
    Fall Yearling Heifer
    Milking Yearling
    Summer Junior Two-Year-Old Cow*
    Junior Two-Year-Old Cow
    Senior Two-Year-Old Cow
    Junior Three-Year-Old Cow
    Senior Three-Year-Old Cow
    Four-Year-Old Cow
    Five-Year-Old Cow
    Six-Year-Old & Older Cow
    150,000 Lb. Lifetime Milk Production Cow
         
    • Red & White Holsteins will only earn points if shown in class with the Black & Whites at the National Holstein Shows. Points are not earned in stand-alone Red & White shows.
    • The tier a show falls into will be based on the number of head exhibited at that show in the award year.
    • Ties will be broken, determined by the highest placing at the National Show with the most total number of animals shown.
